11. Bacon Farm & Maple Products, Sidney, ME

We headed to our next Harvest Host in Sidney, ME. We made a couple of stops on the way there. During a coffee run at Dunkin, we spotted an Asian market called Trans Market (something was definitely lost in translation 😳), so Ofie went in and grabbed a few items. Next, we stopped at the LL Bean Outlet in Freeport (per Hampy's recommendation). It was the biggest and nicest LL Bean we've ever been to.

We arrived at our destination around 5 pm. Most Harvest Hosts are boondocking sites, but a few do provide electricity and water for a fee. This one did, which was a nice surprise. Curiously, the owner's name is Kevin Bacon (yeah, not that Kevin Bacon). They also did not sell bacon, only maple syrup. We were greatly disappointed on both counts 😁
