Welcome to our blog, Braycation Adventures. We are Ofelia & Steve Bray.

Steve recently retired from the Orlando Fire Department after 26 years of service. The dream has been to explore this beautiful country. God has graciously granted us the wishes of our hearts. We are embarking on this journey in our 35 ft. fifth- wheel and trusty sidekick Emme. She is a mini Bernedoodle with an Aussie bent. We joke that she is just like Ofelia, who is Chinese, born in Honduras, speaks Spanish, and looks apparently, Filipino. Or so, she's been told numerous times, by all types of people, including Filipinos. 😂

Steve was born and raised in Hollywood, FL. He has had quite an adventurous life, from camping, water & snow skiing, racing sailboats and scuba diving to motorcycling, rappelling, bull riding and becoming an Eagle Scout and U.S. Marine. He hiked across the country for 3+ years in his late teens and early 20's and he served in the Marines for 6 years and fought in Desert Storm. But the most adventurous/dangerous has been married life ... 😂 (or so he says!)

We have 2 awesome kids, Christa, 22 and Jesse, 19. Christa recently graduated from UCF and Jesse is pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, also at UCF. We are so proud of the independent, considerate, compassionate and kind-hearted adults they have become and we give God all the glory.
