9. Bear Cave Resort Buchanan, MI

May 12-14 (Mon-Wed)

On Tuesday, we drove through Benton Harbor (Whirlpool headquarters) to Silver Beach in St Joseph. Per https://swmichigan.org, "St. Joe", known as the Riviera of the Midwest, is a popular attraction for beach lovers.

Emme had a blast running around and playing with the waves.

There was a nice little waterfall and hiking trails within our campground.

The recreation center had an arcade, ping pong/pool tables and a porch with rocking chairs and a view of the water. Beautiful place to hang out.

On Wednesday, we went to Warren Dunes State Park; beautiful place with lots of hiking trails and picnic areas. Emme had fun chasing her ball in Lake Michigan, while I collected rocks. I found a heart-shaped one (see grey rock on top row on towel).
