7. Crow Vineyard & Winery Kennedyville, MD
Aug 3 (Sat)
It took us about 6 hours to get to Crow Vineyard (our second Harvest Host/boondocking stay); which included an hour, just to cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Four lanes merged to 3, 2, and finally one.
We stopped at the Maryland Welcome Center for a photo opp and more brochures!
This place has a restaurant, sells wine as well as grass-fed Angus beef, serves as a special events venue, and has cottages you can rent. We tried their Angus steak fajitas and they were excellent!
The generator kept cutting out but thankfully we had a rainstorm which cooled things off.
We met a nice couple from NJ, Hank and Elaine, whose camper was parked right behind us. Steve made friends with their chow hound.
