We spent 2 days in the prettiest campground near Nashville. There was a river behind our site and Emme had the best time splashing around.

Goodlettsville is in CST (Central Standard Time). Interestingly, Tennessee is one of 15 states that observe more than one time zone.

On Saturday night, we had some chicken and dumplings while we enjoyed live music. The 4-member band was excellent and diverse. They played everything from Jimmy Buffet to Patsy Cline to Three Dog Night. The weather was gorgeous; temperatures were in the 50's at night and low 70's in the day.

On Sunday we drove to the Nashville Flea Market, about 20 min. away. This 3-day event occurs once a month and boasts around 2,000 vendors! I had fun window shopping but I'm proud to say I only spent $1 😊

Next we, stopped at the Grand Ole Opry House which was located next to the Opry Mills Mall and Gaylord Palms Hotel. The backstage tour cost $45 per person, so instead we visited the gift shop and the nearby Opry Mills Mall. In addition to retail stores, this mall had an Aquarium, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, Escape Room, Movie Theater, Game Show, Miniature Golf and many restaurants.
