On Saturday, we dropped Emme off at our friends Steve and Miriam's house in Eaton, OH, and headed to The Ark Encounter in KY, about 1-½ hours away.

On the way back, we saw this horse made out of motorcycle parts and the "Florence Y'all" water tower.

On Sunday, we joined Miriam and her daughter Olivia at their church, the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. The worship was simple and sweet; no instruments, just everyone singing a capella.
After church, we had lunch with Miriam and her kids, Asa, Olivia, and Annika, who drove a while, just to visit with us! We got to meet her sweet toddler, Sophie. We even got to Facetime with Steve, who was at a job site in PA.

Miriam sent us home with some of her delicious homemade goodies! And not only did she leave us zuppa toscana for diinner on Monday, while she went to visit her parents, but she also shared her recipe ❤️
Per Miriam's recommendation, we had lunch at the Eaton Place and went to Steiner's Country Market on Monday. Both the restaurant, and the market were excellent!
